Denise STIEBEL, born in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle) on March 31, 1936, was deported with her father, Isaac, on August 31, 1942, on convoy 26. Her mother, Reiszla, had already been deported on convoy 8. They had fled from Lorraine to the southwest and were under house arrest in Rouillé (Vienne). Later they were interned in the Poitiers camp and deported from Angers.
